Your Cookbook In Different Binding Styles

So you started your cookbook not quite sure what binding style you wanted. No problem. You can make your cookbook available in multiple binding styles at the same time! No need to do all that work again. When you head to the "Preview & Order" section, you will be given options to choose your binding style.

A separate set of Print-Ready Proof files will be generated for each binding style. Be sure to review each set of files carefully. Our binding styles are close, but not exactly the same dimensions. So it's important for you to preview your cover and contents pdf files just to be sure something isn't off center in one binding style, or overflowing the margins.

I would like to see actual photos of sample cookbooks in the different styles.

You mention different styles have different dimensions but you don't list them all in inches just to preview pages. Not helpful.

All of the dimensions can be viewed by clicking on the binding style in the pricing page.

When I design the cover for my cookbook, if the picture/printing is centered for the soft cover version it is off center for the hardcover version and vice versa. I plan to order books in both formats (as well as e-books). Do I order one set and re-center the picture and type for the other version, then order the second format separately?

That's a great question, Patsy! There are a couple of ways you can resolve that:

    1. "Overzoom" the picture so that it covers the entire book in both styles.
    2. Center for each style, and publish them separately, as you described.
